Like most twentysomethings, I was completely mistaken about what I wanted to do with my life. I enjoyed writing, so I started a blog. Then in an attempt to make it more visually appealing, I tripped headfirst into web development, which ended up being my actual career - I just didn't know it yet.
A few hundred thousand lines of markup [and a few knock-down drag-out fights with Photoshop] later, I'm a full-on web whiz and A-level getter of things done. I love Wordpress, jQuery, and neat markup that's semantic enough for a middle-schooler to understand.
When I'm not working, you can find me scouring thrift stores for mint-condition midcentury furniture and cooking. I'm also a classically-trained pianist. I own a border collie named Hachiko [Japanese, "faithful friend"].
